Già è un azzardo fare la trasposizione cinematografica di una serie tv PERFETTA per la tv (x-files, sex & the city, friends). Poi se il risultato è anche orribile…
Chi ama x-files ha i suoi feticci: il paranormale mescolato a spunti scientifici; il grande complotto; l’area 51; gli agenti buoni e quelli cattivi della cia; il rapimento della sorella di mulder; gli esperimenti scientifici che sconfinano nella fantascienza. Niente di tutto questo! Ma il feticcio – per me – intoccabile è il rapporto tra mulder e scully: sappiamo tutti che cosa provano uno per l’altra ma, (e su questo hitchcock ha segnato un punto di non ritorno nell’intervista che ha rilasciato a truffaut) , non vediamo mai rappresentato il loro amore attraverso le manifestazioni più ovvie. Il film ha azzerato anche questa magia.
una sola cosa funziona, cinematograficamente parlando: la neve che cade incessante su tutta la vicenda con una inesorabilità da punizione biblica.
